Stake DAI instead of NMR?

Hi,

In the Erasure Protocol Github I read that the protocol supports DAI in addition to NMR (Release Multiple Token Support · erasureprotocol/erasure-protocol · GitHub).

It is my understanding that the Numerai Tournament and Signals is based on Erasure. Therefore it should be possible to stake DAI as well.

Is anyone able to confirm or deny that?

Only NMR staking is supported for Signals and Classic tournament.

How can it not be (inofficially) supported if Erasure supports it?
